The fans then held up banners saying “We’ll be waiting until TWICE returns” after the video ended. 3. TWICE Shares Thoughts On Their Recent Achievements, Travel Must-Haves, And Recommends Songs For Learning Korean Following their first sold out concert in Singapore last year, TWICE is back for their “TWICELAND Zone 2: Fantasy Park” tour! We were at the press conference to meet the girls and find out their thoughts on their upcoming gig. Here are some of the highlights: How does it feel like to return to Singapore and perform at a venue that is twice as large as last year’s? Nayeon: I’m grateful to be back in Singapore within one year, and am really looking forward to the concert. Jihyo: I’m thankful to see double the fans that we used to have, and I’m really looking forward to meeting you all. How will your second concert here be different from your first concert last year? Chaeyoung: There will be plenty more songs and unit performances that fans can look forward to! During your concert, which song do you enjoy performing the most? Tzuyu: I like performing “Only 너,” since it’s a song where many ONCEs sing along with us. Dahyun: My favorite moment is when the stage opens; I get goosebumps as soon as I hear cheers from fans, and I really look forward to meeting them! If you could design a fantasy park, what facilities would you like to have in it? Sana: Personally, I really like roller coasters, and if any ONCEs want to join in on the roller coaster as well, we can enjoy it together! TWICE recently became the first female foreign artist to have a single album certified double platinum in Japan. How do you feel about this remarkable achievement? Jihyo: When we first debuted in Korea, our song “TT” became a hit. I think it’s really cool that fans in Japan also really liked that song, which brought us there and I’m thankful to be given the opportunity to be awarded. Can you share an anecdote of something exciting or funny that occurred behind the scenes while filming your music videos? Tzuyu: We really like to play this game called “Mafia,” and we always play it while waiting to film our MVs. I really like it! Jeongyeon: When filming our music video “What Is Love,” we actually had to dress up as males, which was very memorable for me. Where would you like to visit, or what would you like to try on this trip? Momo: When I visit Singapore, I usually order Chilli Crab or Black Pepper Crab (famous local dishes). I got the chance to try it yesterday, so I was really happy. Sana: I really like the Mantou (fried bun) that comes together with the Chilli Crab, and I want to have it again before we leave Singapore. What is one item that you have to carry with you for your overseas schedules, and why? Jihyo: My camera! I really like photography, so I bought a new camera last year, and enjoy filling up my photo albums with pictures of other people and myself. Jeongyeon: My headphones, as I like listening to music. Whenever I’m on the plane, my ears hurt, but with my headphones they don’t hurt as much. Dahyun: Since we travel a lot, I always ensure that I bring my skincare products, in order to keep my skin healthy after wearing makeup for a long period of time. Momo: I like to have plenty of snacks to eat during our flight! Chaeyoung: I like brushing my hair, so I always have a comb with me. Tzuyu: Bath bombs! I like taking baths in our hotel whenever we travel, so this is an essential. Mina: My tablet, so I can watch movies. Nayeon: My eye mask, since I can’t fall asleep unless it’s totally dark. What is your favourite TWICE song, and why? Momo: I like “TT.” A lot of people got to know us through that song, and the dance moves are easy enough for people to follow as well. Dahyun: I like all our songs, but if I had to choose, it would be “Like Ooh-Ahh.” This is our debut song, so it’s special to me. Which TWICE song would you recommend to help people learn Korean? Tzuyu: “You In My Heart.” I think that the lyrics are really well-written, and it’s a lovely song. I would like it if people can learn and know what the lyrics mean. Jihyo: “What Is Love,” as the lyrics have simple words that can be used in everyday life, plus, the song is quite catchy. Fans can expect special stage set-ups with spectacular visuals at the “TWICELAND Zone 2: Fantasy Park.” Special thanks to ONE Production for inviting us to the press conference! 7. TWICE Says They’re Amazed By Park Jin Young’s Ability To Write Lyrics From Girls’ Perspective TWICE expressed their amazement at JYP Entertainment founder Park Jin Young’s songwriting skills on “Yoo Hee Yeol‘s Sketchbook”! See Also: TWICE’s “What Is Love?” Becomes Fastest K-Pop Girl Group MV To Hit 40 Million Views During the April 14 episode of the KBS music variety show, TWICE talked about their new title track “What is Love?” and the meaning behind the song’s lyrics. Leader Jihyo remarked, “Producer Park Jin Young personally composed our title track this time. The song is about a girl wanting to experience the love she learned about in books, movies, and dramas for herself in real life.” MC Yoo Hee Yeol jokingly replied, “I heard that Park Jin Young wrote your new song and was very worried. But as soon as I heard it, I thought that it would do well. Fortunately, there was no ‘JYP’ in the [song’s] introduction.” As the TWICE members all cracked up at his comment, Yoo Hee Yeol went on to ask, “[Park] Jin Young also wrote all the lyrics himself, right?” After TWICE confirmed that he had, he continued, “I looked at the lyrics, and they were totally from the perspective of a young girl. How does Park Jin Young write [lyrics] like that?” TWICE earnestly replied, “We want to know too. We’re really curious ourselves.” Yoo Hee Yeol then asked the group to pick the line from “What is Love?” that they found most girlish, and several of the members instantly agreed on Sana’s line, “They say it’s sweet like candy/They say it feels like flying through the sky.” Nayeon speculated, “In my opinion, it seems like producer [Park Jin Young] wrote the lyrics while using the ideal image of a young girl in his mind and imagining [her perspective].” Jeongyeon added, “He also choreographs our dances,” while the other members chimed in, “He even teaches us the choreography himself.” Expressing his disbelief, Yoo Hee Yeol asked TWICE which part Park Jin Young had choreographed. To his surprise, they revealed that he had choreographed the dance to the same girlish line that they had mentioned earlier. You can check out TWICE’s performances from the show here! Thank you for always being with us. Let’s keep spending happy days standing by each other. Thank you.” “It’s not something we can take for granted but if I don’t stay alert, I might become full of myself and I might think that I always deserve to be loved,” she said. “It doesn’t mean that I thought that way but while promoting this album, I’ve felt especially grateful and blessed.” “So I wanted to tell you today that I’m always grateful (for your support),” she said. 9. TWICE Explains How They Reacted When They First Saw Their “Cheer Up” Choreography TWICE revealed their reactions to a part of the “Cheer Up” dance during their appearance on the May 3 episode of KBS2’s “Happy Together.” When Yoo Jae Suk asked what they meant by being embarrassed by their “posing like flowers and Nayeon watering them choreography” in “Cheer Up,” TWICE’s Dahyun expressed, “Contrary to how people see us, we honestly aren’t very good at acting cute.” She explained how at the beginning of the song, eight of the TWICE members pair up and pose as flowers. Embarrassed, Nayeon continued, saying that she is pretending to shake and spread seeds with her hands, before she waters the “flowers” so they can bloom. Remembering the first time they saw the dance, Dahyun commented, “It made us cringe,” Nayeon said, “We were so taken aback that the atmosphere [in the room] was bad for about five minutes or so,” while Jihyo added, “That’s right. We didn’t say anything.” “When we were watching the choreographers dance and we saw someone ‘watering the flowers,’ all nine of us thought, “As long as I’m not that person,'” Nayeon revealed. “I didn’t know it would end up being me.” See the three TWICE members demonstrate the dance as well as a version with the other guests joining in! 10. [V Report Plus] Behind the scenes of Jihyo’s ‘Love Letter’ re-enactment (Naver V app) Jihyo of girl group Twice recreated the famous “Ogenkidesuka (How are you)?” scene from the 1995 Japanese film “Love Letter” on the latest episode of “Twice TV” released via Naver’s V app Wednesday. The episode showed behind-the-scenes footage of the filming of the music video for the group’s latest track “What is Love?” which parodies popular scenes from romance films. “It’s another parody of the movie. It’s the famous scene -- I’m sure you know. (The scene where the heroine shouts) ‘Ogenkidesuka?’ I’m going to recreate that scene,” the singer said. As she had to tearfully shout out the lyrics instead of the original lines from the film, Jihyo was worried that the performance would be awkward. “I feel awkward already. I wish my bandmates were here with me,” she said. “What should I do? It’s definitely going to be awkward.” She struggled, but with the help of artificial tears, she finally finished the scene. “I think trying to cry on cue could be a very valuable experience in life. When else would I do this?” she said. http://www.vlive.tv/video/69346 CR: KPOPHERALD
  11. Watch: TWICE’s Aegyo Makes Lee Kwang Soo Want To Change His Name On “Running Man” On the latest episode of “Running Man,” TWICE brought Lee Kwang Soo to his knees with their adorable aegyo! The April 29 broadcast of the SBS variety show featured an aegyo acrostic poem battle, in which the TWICE members competed to come up with the cutest acrostic poem using a cast member’s name. Nayeon went first, using Kim Jong Kook’s name to put her adorable charms on full display. The “Running Man” cast members couldn’t hold back their smiles, with Kim Jong Kook screaming and hiding his face in embarassment. Yoo Jae Suk commented admiringly, “She’s an aegyo expert,” while Lee Kwang Soo passionately declared, “She needs to be designated a Living National Treasure immediately!” The next challenger, TWICE’s Jihyo, also chose Kim Jong Kook’s name for her own acrostic poem. With Kim Jong Kook’s name proving to be a popular choice, Lee Kwang Soo surmised that the idols were opting to use it because the “Kook” syllable was easy to play up in a cute way. Yang Se Chan enviously remarked, “Wow, it must be Jong Kook’s day today,” while Lee Kwang Soo jealously lamented, “How come my name isn’t Lee Kwang Kook?!” In the end, however, both Yang Se Chan and Lee Kwang Soo were able to enjoy their own moments in the spotlight: Sana chose to address her acrostic poem to her partner Yang Se Chan, while Nayeon used Lee Kwang Soo’s name for her encore round. After hearing Nayeon’s adorable poem, Lee Kwang Soo couldn’t help screaming in delight as he fell to the ground. Check out the clip of Nayeon kicking off the aegyo battle below! 12. Exclusive: TWICE Invites Fans To A Night Of Wonder And Delight At “TWICELAND ZONE 2: Fantasy Park” Concert TWICE invited fans to an enthralling experience as they held their “TWICELAND ZONE 2: Fantasy Park” solo concerts from May 18 to 20 at the Jamshil Indoor Stadium in Seoul. It was an evening of delight and wonder that began with the members of TWICE appearing in swings suspended above the stage as they sang “You In My Heart.” They had everyone dancing along as they performed hits like “Like OOH-AHH,” “Cheer Up,” and “Likey,” as well as other dance tracks like “Ponytail” and “Hold Me Tight.” Keeping with their fantasy park theme, the stage was decorated like a theme park and dancers appeared in a variety of costumes to give the appearance of TWICE being the highlight performance of a theme park parade. TWICE seemed to be taking fans through various areas of their fantasy park with different sets and outfits. First moving to a sparkling winter wonderland with a rendition of “Someone Like Me” and “Turtle” and then an utilizing phones mounted on selfie sticks to play with various selfie filters and goof around. They also showed a different side when they appeared in suits to perform “Touchdown” and “Signal,” as well as a cover of BoA’s “Valenti.” The covers continued and gave the members the opportunity to take on various genres and concepts. First up was Dahyun, who covered Rain’s “Rainism” and made it her own as “Dahyunism.” After the performance, she also shared that her cane had unfortunately broken during the stage, and she was given the chance to recreate the moment. Not having a cane anymore, Dahyun improvised by using the straw from her water bottle and had everyone laughing with her quick thinking. Following her was Jihyo, Momo, and Tzuyu, who performed Beyoncé’s “End of Time.” Tzuyu stated, “We wanted to try a cool concept that was different from our usual sweet and cute concept,” and all three agreed that they were happy with the way the performance came out. Nayeon and Jeongyeon took on “My Ear’s Candy” by Baek Ji Young and 2PM’s Taecyeon, taking turns to wear a pair of sunglasses to transform into their JYP senior. They later explained, “We were so nervous about doing Taecyeon’s parts. We studied his videos a lot to truly get into character and we kept telling ourselves, ‘I am a beast-dol.'” Lastly, Mina, Sana, and Chaeyoung performed Wax’s “Oppa,” and after the performance, they also called out to their female fans and younger fans as they said, “While we were rehearsing, we kept talking about how our female fans and younger fans would be sad that we’re only calling out to our oppas.” The members then changed up the lyrics from “Oppa” to “ONCE” so they could call out to all of their fans at the same time. Following the unit performances, the festivities continued with hits like “Knock Knock,” “What is Love?,” “TT,” and “Heart Shaker,” as well as other hidden gems from their albums like “Sweet Talker,” “Only You,” and “Missing U.” TWICE also covered WINNER’s 2017 song “Really Really” and performed “FFW,” a track from their “Twicetagram” album that had never been performed before. The members continuously moved between the various extended stage areas to get one step closer to their fans, and their fans reciprocated by cheering as loudly as they could. There was even a special moment near the end of the concert when fans made hearts over their heads with their arms and the concert venue was filled with a sea of hearts directed at TWICE. Just when it looked like the concert was over, TWICE returned to the stage for their encore, performing “One in a Million,” “What is Love?” (Acoustic Version) and a medley of their hit songs. For approximately three hours, TWICE and ONCE shared a special and unforgettable experience together. Having captivated 18,000 fans across three sold-out concerts in Seoul, TWICE is set to take their fantasy park to Japan next. They will perform at the Saitama Super Arena on May 26 and 27, and at the Osaka-jo Hall on June 2 and 3, all of which are sold out. TWICE also has a concert in Singapore planned as well. CR: soompi

  16. [V Report Plus] Twice’s Jihyo, Jeongyeon hold ‘ugly’ selfie contest (Naver's V app) When Jihyo and Jeongyeon found out Twice was trending on South Korea’s biggest web portal Naver during their live broadcast Monday, the two set out on an “ugly” selfie contest that they might regret but which fans absolutely loved. (Naver's V app) It all began when the duo promised viewers that they would disclose unattractive selfies of themselves and their group mates, if the group were to trend on Naver while they were live-streaming. Much to their dismay, Jihyo and Jeongyeon got a call from Nayeon shortly after informing them that Twice was indeed trending at the moment. “I can’t believe you made us trend on Naver,” Jihyo told fans. They had no choice but to keep true to their word by showing fans a series of unattractive selfies of themselves from their laptop. The next time you want to see ugly selfies of Twice members, make them trend on Naver while they’re on the V app. By The Korea Herald (khnews@heraldcorp.com) http://www.vlive.tv/video/75083 http://www.vlive.tv/video/75087 CR: KPOPHERALD
  17. Lets spazz about our eternal leader God-Jihyo!
  18. I'm just curious to see if anyone else has ever had any of the members in a dream/how the dream went etc. Last month I think it was, I had 3 dreams 3 nights in a row and the first two were some kind of new kind of nightmare because I met them all both times in this super social setting but when I'd speak what I do know how to say in Korean (Hello, you guys are so cute, I love you, etc.) they'd just stand there looking super confused and Momo would be doing that "yes yes" polite bow and Sana would have a really confused smile on, you know, trying to be encouraging when she actually has no idea what you're talking about But in the dream I knew I was saying the words/phrases correctly but I'd get embarrassed anyways The third dream on the third night was just some apocalyptic survival game of tag and everyone was in their ooh-ahh m/v outfits (w/ their hair back to how it used to be) and we all ran to a plane out of this zombie infested mall at the end (idk if anyone got left behind) (Jeongyeon was also snipping zombies from the top of this tall staircase that lead to nowhere?) LOL anyways just curious to hear about other ONCE's TWICE dreams
  19. [V Report Plus] Momo learns to play Korean ‘se se se’ (Naver V app) Girl group Twice enjoyed their time back in school in the latest episode of Twice TV released via Naver’s V app Wednesday. The episode showed some behind-the-scenes footage from the filming of the music video for the group’s latest track “What is Love?” which parodies popular scenes from romance films. In the video, the Twice bandmates filmed a scene which parodied a scene from the 2001 film “The Princess Diaries” where the heroine Mia, played by Anne Hathaway, returned to school after getting a drastic makeover to become the princess of Genovia. During the break, Jihyo taught her Japanese bandmate Momo how play the “se se se” clapping game. Momo was confused by the quick hand movements at first, but got the moves soon after. Watching them play the game, Sana said, “It would have been fun if they went to same school. Don’t you think so?” Another Japanese bandmate Mina is a professional when it comes to the clapping game and played a more complicated version than Jihyo. http://www.vlive.tv/video/67315 CR: KPOPHERALD
  20. Watch: TWICE Show Off Their Cute And Silly Side On “Gag Concert” TWICE’s Sana, Mina, Dahyun, and Jihyo made a memorable appearance on the latest episode of “Gag Concert”! The four TWICE members appeared as guest stars on the April 22 broadcast of the KBS 2TV comedy show. In one sketch, Sana and Mina played adorable but hard-bargaining customers at a clothing store, using their signature cute charms to haggle with the owner. In another sketch, Dahyun proved her skills as an entertainer by showing off her powerful dance moves and, oddly enough, her impressively large mouth. We received CDs not too long ago and they wrote something to each member.” Nayeon added, “It’s really cool now that we have become seniors,” to which the other members agreed. TWICE then took turns answering questions. When asked to choose the member with the most memorable first impression, Jihyo answered, “Momo and Sana.” She explained, “Momo and Sana were the first Japanese people I’d ever met. I think they thought that I was definitely older than them. When I told them that we were the same age, they said, ‘Huh…?'” Dahyun was asked to choose the clumsiest member off-stage. She answered, “Definitely Nayeon. On stage, Nayeon’s performance skills are really good. But in real life, she does things like wear t-shirts inside out.” Nayeon commented, “I’m clumsy on stage too. These days, I can’t find my position on stage and get the choreography wrong.” Jeongyeon added, “Nayeon gets it wrong, but is good at confidently acting like she didn’t.” When it was Momo’s turn, she had to choose the member more obsessed with food. She also chose Nayeon and explained, “She always travel with food and Nayeon also obsesses over food. When I’m eating something, she always comes next to me and asks, ‘What’s that?” Chaeyoung had to answer which member she’d scold if she wasn’t the youngest. She chose Nayeon again, who responded with an embarrassed laugh. TWICE then revealed that Dahyun was the most different on and off camera. Dahyun acknowledged this and said, “Fans also say that I’m like a middle-aged man.” The members also went around choosing songs they’d play on the radio if they became DJs.
